Bio Alejandro Rodriguez Pruneda
Founder of Costa Nativa Ecotours.
Oceanographer from the University of Baja California who is originally from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. Arrived to Troncones on 2004 and got in loved with the area. Gorgeous Nature, great surf, and amazing people made him decide to live in this paradise and develop a project of Ecotourism, named Costa Nativa, with the goal to contribute on the preservation of the amazing natural and cultural resources of this region of Mexico.
Trough low impact activities like hiking, kayaking and bicycling we explore the sea, lagoons, rivers and mountains observing the amazing biodiversity of flora and fauna. Along the tours we experience the local people way of life, their relation with the ecosystem and the main problems that put on risk the environment.
At this time the growing population at rural towns and the lack of economical alternatives at the area has caused overexploitation of the natural resources, under this situation Costa Nativa project looks for new sustainable activities and economical alternatives like ecotourism and organic agriculture for preserving our nature and country people way of life.
Give us a chance to share our passion for nature and to appreciate being part of it. Learn and share your knowledge and experiences for the common goal of protecting our world.
