Alejandro Rodriguez Pruneda
Alejandro is an Oceanographer from the University of Baja California who is originally from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. He has established an ecotourism project in Tronocones, Guerrero, Mexico to find a sustanable way of living through developing mutual relationships of education with local farmers and fishermen who are the most knowlegable people in the area due to their extensive experience and observations in nature.
Eco-tourism in and around Troncones from Alejandro's perpective must be developed in a way which is respectful to nature. The benefits of eco-tourism could contribute to conserve native traditions and the amazing natural resourses of this beautiful coastline.
"The Troncones eco-tourism project is moving forward already and many great people is willing to help. That is a great thing to feel supported by people who care about our planet and especially the area of Troncones. Sharing knolege and experience is the only way to slow down the destruction, and hopefully restore some of the natural equilibrium of the mother earth." - Alejandro Rodriguez Pruneda
